OUR TEAM:

  • Elly Schmidt

Hi there! Thank you for your interest in Your Fairy Dog Mother and Co. MKE! I am happy you’re here. I have been an animal obsessed human since the day I was born.

Currently, my husband and I have 2 black cats, Pauly and Worm. We also have a Rhodesian Ridgeback/pit mix named Wisco. She is the goodest girl.

While we were living in Detroit, I worked at a Doggy Day Care. It was my favorite job I had ever had. Dog people are my kind of people. There I learned all about dog behavior, canine body language, balanced play vs unbalanced play, and the importance of force free/ positive + training. I learned it all and I was hooked.

When we moved back to Wisconsin, my cousin recommend I check out Sam Walks Dogs for employment. Sam and I met for a meet and greet and the rest is history. I met so many awesome people and dogs… you all literally changed my life. When Sam came to me telling me she was thinking about leaving the dog walking world, I couldn’t imagine not seeing the dogs everyday. She asked if I had any interest in taking over and I knew I couldn’t say no. That’s how we became who we are today!

There is nothing quite like the Milwaukee dog community and I am honored to be a part of it, Enriching your dogs life while still allowing you to go about your busy day is why we are here!

  • Brianna Dziuk

    Hi! I’m Brianna!

I grew up with pets in the home and farm animals on my parents property in rural Wisconsin. From an early age, I learned to show compassion towards all animals. I currently have 2 dogs. Both pitty mixes named Niko and Indie. We also have a cat, Aja. They are as goofy as they come.

I love the social media dog community that I have found here in Milwaukee! I have learned so much about enrichment, training techniques, and fun facts from the people I follow on Instagram.

I love working with dogs who have anxiety or need a little extra help.

When I am not busy caring for your pets, you can find me with my husband watching Wisconsin sports and camping!

  • Sarah Goodman

Hey there - it’s Sarah! I have grown up around family and neighborhood dogs of all sizes. I rescued my bully mix Lettie in 2018. Through owning a dog, I have been able to meet so many amazing people. The Milwaukee dog community is truly something special!

I have worked in the pet industry for 5 years now and I absolutely love it! I really enjoy learning about animal communication and behavior. This is a job where you are constantly learning, as no two animals are the same.

One go my favorite parts about this job is having the opportunity to earn the trust of our clients pets. From the bubbly pets to the nervous ones. Creating that individual bond with your pet is a reward in and of itself.

I am so happy to be a part of this team and can’t wait to meet you and your pet!

  • Laura Martinez

    Hello!

my name is Laura and I have been working with dogs for about a year now. Growing up I didn’t have any pets, when I got older my family got a dog and when I moved out I got a cat. Now I just love being around animals and working with them. It makes it the best job ever!

  • Ainsley De Haan

I have had a passion for animals since a young age and grew up with a variety of pets including dogs, cats, rabbits, chinchillas, etc. My passion grew when I had the opportunity to intern at Best Friends Animal Santuary in Utah during my undergrad. In 2019 I graduated from Bergin College of Canine Studies in California with a Master of Science in Human Canine Life Sciences.

My career in dog walking and pet sitting started in 2018. I love working with shy pets and those that need medical care (insulin, elderly & medications). As well as using my degree to spot behavioral issues and find the right enrichment or training to benefit a pet in the long run. Over the years it has been fun seeing how many different breeds there are in the Milwaukee dog community.

My husband and I rescued a green cheeked conure (smaller parrot) named AC & a tuxedo kitty named Remy. We love to travel, explore new breweries around the world and watching our son grow!

A bond with a pet is such a special thing and I can't wait to meet yours!

    Hello pet parents!

I’ve grown up in a family of animal lovers! My grandparents always had Golden’s, my aunt always had a pair of rescue dogs, and I have a cousin who runs a rescue farm (her current residents include horses, goats, cows, pigs, chickens, and a pair of Irish Wolfhounds to name a few). My family was adopted by a cat when I was in elementary school, and I’m always the friend who is most excited to meet your pet when you host a party.

My current dog is a rescued hound mix named Dolly (after Mrs. Parton) who is 70 pounds of love and excitement.

I love my pup, and love working in pet care because all our pets have such wonderful unique personalities and getting to know them gives me such joy!

    Hello!

My name is Angie. I've been walking dogs on and off for the past 5 years. I currently have one cat named Morty. A huge passion of mine is being in the outdoors community, more specifically hiking in our national parks. Walking dogs not only helped me connect with nature within our city but with the community. I love being able able to see the events and festivals that go on because of Your Fairy Dog Mother & Co. My favorite part of pet care is being able to give love and receive it back. There is absolutely nothing like it.

  • Chris F

Hello! I’m Chris! I am excited to be a member of this team! I have one dog- Oliver (Fox Red Lab)- who is also my Service Dog. We go on daily hikes and adventures, and enjoy traveling and exploring new places together. In addition, we have two kitties at home- Thomas and Alex. They are SO cute!

I have been an animal lover my entire life. I was constantly trying to rescue any animal who was lost, or who I “thought” was lost! I grew up with dogs, but was not able to have cats until I was an adult. Yes, I am a dog person, but tend to be that crazy cat lady too! I also have a passion for horses, and worked at an Equestrian Ranch many years ago. I love to ride whenever I get the chance!

I have a background in Social Work, specifically adoptions and School Social Work. I became interested in dog training after I adopted Oliver four years ago, and we have been through extensive training together as a Service Dog team. I initially became a dog walker/Petsitter to help my friend Claire, who owned PetsittingMKE. I had so much fun, I continued for over two years! I worked with a deaf dog and taught him a few skills in sign language. Oliver will often come with me on walks, when appropriate, and he has helped some dogs work on their confidence!

I am very much a supporter of using Positive Reinforcement methods with all animals. I greatly enjoy working with dogs who are practicing their “loose leash” walking skills, basic commands, or who may have issues with reactivity. It is very rewarding to help clients with solutions to a variety of concerns that they may have with their pets! I find it to be so much fun to work on new skills with dogs, teach them new tricks, go on decompression walks, work on leash manners, and overall just be that person who you can feel confident with, when I’m with your furry family member!

Hello to my fellow animal lovers :)

Ever since I was 6 I BEGGED my parents for a family dog. 10 years later, I did a full research PowerPoint and presented it to my parents, and there we have it—we rescued our first family dog! From that moment on, I was bound and determined to soak up all the information I could on rescue animals.

A few years ago, my fiance and I started volunteering at a few rescue shelters in the area which eventually lead to us fostering dogs! We adopted our own dog, Scoob, in 2022 and he is our whole world and the best cuddler. We live to share that love with other dogs, while also being a helping hand for families. We have boarded dogs for a few years now, and we are so excited to open up our home for more dog friends!!!

Outside of being a student, I work at Happy Tails Pet Supplies where I continue to grow in my knowledge of dog nutrition and enrichment. With my background both in rescue and enrichment, all my goals center around giving your dog a homey and loving boarding experience with plenty of attention and running around in our fenced-in backyard!
